The Mill Village has been placed on the state's Study List for National Register Nominations. This is the first step in the process of applying to become a National Register Historic District. Read the Study List Application.

Certain construction and renovation guidelines apply to the Mill Village. These guidelines are contained in the Mill Village Neighborhood Conservation Overlay (NCO). The Conservation Overlay section of the website contains several pages to help you better understand the Mill Village NCO, including a faqs page, a page which clarifies myths about the NCO, and a quiz you can take to check your understanding.

In 2007, the Mill Village Revitalization Committee, a volunteer group of Mill Village Residents open to the public, created a working report for Town Council. The Report highlights obstacles facing the Mill Village and recommends specific actions and solutions for revitalization.
